Terms of Use — Paceory

Use Paceory responsibly. Paceory provides running, training and activity tools for personal informational use and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

1. Using Paceory

Paceory is a personal running and training application designed to help you view, organize and understand your own activity data. You are responsible for using the app lawfully and for keeping access to your device and connected accounts secure.

2. Fitness information

Paceory provides tools, calculations, trends, running plans and training information for general informational purposes. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Exercise involves risk, and you are responsible for deciding whether an activity or training plan is appropriate for you.

3. Activity data, GPS recording and calculations

Distances, pace, heart rate, elevation, route information, predictions, training zones and other metrics can depend on data supplied by your device, GPS reception, imported files or connected services. Paceory aims to process these accurately but does not guarantee that every measurement, estimate, prediction, route or imported value will be complete or error-free.

Paceory Start is a personal GPS activity-recording feature, not a navigation, emergency-location or safety service. Tracking accuracy and availability can change with location permissions, signal, battery, background operation and device conditions. Check your surroundings and follow local safety rules when exercising.

4. Connected services

Optional integrations include Strava, Apple Health (HealthKit), Garmin Connect, MapKit and WeatherKit. These services are subject to the availability, permissions and terms of their respective providers. Paceory is not responsible for outages, provider-side changes or inaccuracies in data supplied by a third-party service.

When you connect a service, you authorize Paceory to use the data and permissions you select only for Paceory features described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for connecting only accounts and activity data that you are authorized to use. If you choose to upload a Paceory-recorded activity to Strava, the activity details and available route are transferred to your connected Strava account; the resulting copy is subject to Strava's terms and your privacy settings there.

5. Garmin Connect

Garmin Connect integration is optional. Your use of Garmin Connect remains subject to Garmin's own terms, privacy notices and sharing controls. Paceory does not sell Garmin device-sourced data, provide Garmin API access to third parties, or use Garmin data to train, test or improve artificial-intelligence models.

Garmin-sourced information shown in Paceory may be subject to Garmin attribution and branding requirements. Garmin may change, restrict or discontinue API capabilities, which can affect the availability of Garmin-related Paceory features.

6. Your content

You remain responsible for activity files, notes and other information you add to Paceory. You must have the right to use any content you import or provide.

7. Training plans

Start Running plans and other training suggestions are generated from the information and goals you provide and are intended as general fitness guidance. They are not individualized medical or clinical advice, and Paceory does not guarantee a particular race result, improvement or injury outcome.

8. Availability and changes

Paceory may be changed, improved, suspended or discontinued, in whole or in part. Features, integrations and data structures may change as the app is updated or as third-party services change their APIs or policies.

9. Acceptable use

Do not misuse Paceory, attempt to interfere with its services or infrastructure, use the service to violate applicable law, attempt to obtain secrets, credentials or data that you are not authorized to access, or use connected-service data in a manner that violates the provider's terms or permissions.

10. Disclaimer and limitation

Paceory is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

11. Privacy

Your use of Paceory is also subject to the Privacy Policy, which explains how the app handles personal and activity information, optional connected services and service providers.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when Paceory or its services change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
