Common questions
How do I import or add an activity?
Open Running → Activities and tap the gold + button in the top-right corner. Choose Import file for FIT, GPX or TCX, or choose Add manually to enter the activity yourself.
Which activity files can Paceory import?
Paceory supports FIT, GPX and TCX activity files and uses duplicate detection before an activity is added.
Can I connect Strava?
Yes. Strava is optional for importing supported running activities. After saving a run recorded with Paceory Start, you can also choose to send it to your connected Strava account. Uploading is your choice; Paceory can be used without Strava.
Can I connect Garmin Connect?
Yes. Garmin Connect is an optional connection for importing supported Garmin running activities. Find the connection under Profile. Garmin authorization and supported activity delivery use Paceory's backend; disconnect Garmin in Paceory to remove the linked server-side connection and stored Garmin activity payloads. Activities already imported into local Paceory history can be deleted separately.
How do I record a run using Paceory Start?
Open Paceory Start, grant the requested location permission and start the recording. During an active run, Paceory can continue GPS tracking with the iPhone locked when the necessary permissions are granted. A Live Activity can show time, distance and pace on the Lock Screen. When you finish, choose whether to save or discard your run; eligible saved runs can be sent to Strava if you select that option.
What is 3D Run Replay?
3D Run Replay is available for compatible outdoor activities with GPS route data. It uses Apple MapKit to replay the route in 3D with Standard or Satellite map styles, Follow or Free Camera, speed controls and live distance, pace and time. Heart rate and elevation are shown when the activity contains those data.
Where is my activity data stored?
Core running history is stored locally on your device. The optional Garmin integration also retains encrypted activity payloads in Paceory's Cloudflare backend until the Garmin connection is disconnected; imported local records are separate. See the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion details.
Does Paceory have a social feed?
No. Paceory focuses on your own running history, progress, routes and training rather than followers, likes or public feeds.
How do maps and weather work?
Paceory uses Apple services including MapKit and WeatherKit for map, route, place-search and weather features.
What is Paceory Run?
Paceory Run is a small built-in running mini-game. It is optional and does not include purchases, advertising or online social features.
What is Start Running?
Start Running builds a structured running plan around your goal, experience, current capacity and preferred weekly frequency. Paceory can recommend a realistic plan length and preserve completed training history when a plan ends.
I found a bug. What should I include?
Please include your Paceory version, iPhone model, what you were doing when the issue happened and, if possible, a screenshot. Do not send passwords, authentication tokens or other secrets.
